Setting the table for Thanksgiving dinner usually falls to me every year. I really like putting together a pretty table that everyone can enjoy for a few hours. We do thanksgiving at my parents house and they have a limited selection of, I'll just say table props, so I've been looking up lots of different ideas as I don't know what I have to work with. I like to use, and can always find, natural elements like leaves or fruit. The pottery barn website has a great inspiration center that gives ideas on centerpieces and tablescapes (ugh--I really hate the word tablescape, but moving on!). Here are a few pics I found for inspiration:

Love the texture on these...(from PB)

I can definitely handle this! It's soo pretty and simple. (PB)

I love the idea of wrapping the candles with leaves and sprinkling them on the table.

Love! the white pumpkins, though I won't be trying to whittle them into candle holders...I'm just not that crafty, helloooo fire hazard.
Only 5 more (work) days until Thanksgiving!
OMG sooo cute! I love them all!
ReplyDeleteAll of these ideas are so pretty!
ReplyDeletePS: Target has beautiful candles that look like those birch ones, and cost a bit less than PB.
Love that last tablescape. So beautiful!
